Hull EXPECT to win, or gain points......
Stoke HOPE to win ,or gain points..........
Why the fuck do we show so much deference to these average sides (Bolton, Boro & today)..........

The managers thoughts on football games are so different thats why we are where we are and Hull where they are.
Pulis HOPES to get a point but obviously we end up losing because we invite every fucker onto to us.

I wouldn't include today, imo you can't go gung-ho at a team with so much pace in it, they'll punish you every time, we're not just talking class players, but in Robinho, they have a world class player, Bolton and Midd do not have any players that compare to SWP or Robinho, so I'd agree with you but not today.
Also if you remember we were actually on top at Midd until Fayes sending off, which changed the game. I think the Everton game is one we should have gone full tilt right from kick off, instead we waited until they were 2 up until we decided we would have a go at them, if we'd have adopted that attitude from the start we would have got the 3pts in that game.
so yes, I tend to agree to a certain extent, we do sometimes show to much respect to teams and sit back far to much.

Hull soak up the pressure just like us, but when they counter they do so in numbers. They also have two willing and strong runners up front and a midfielder creator who is on fire at the moment. They have bought frugally and well. Our best signings are Faye, Sorenson and Higgy, the rest are average at best although I do have some sympathy with Kitson.

You're prob being a bit harsh on Pulis
Him and Browny might both be new to the prem as managers but Browny has had some invaluable close at hand experience of what you need to compete in this league, and I don't think you can just learn that overnight
Sure you still need to take it on board and apply it to your own situation so credit to Brown for that
The logic behind what looked like some quite random signings at the time has become more clear now as well, whereas I think Pulis just tried to make you a better version of the same style of team you already were which perhaps showed a bit of naivete

hull DARE stoke DAREN'T this applies in loads of situations, when stoke go forward, they dont over-commit players, hull flood forward when people attack stoke , they stand off, hull go and dare to tackle when stoke get to the edge of the box they try to pass it into the net, hull DARE to shoot stoke's formation is based around holding everything together, hull play 4-4-2 with real strikers playing as strikers, and they give geovani a free role aswell. Hull will stay up because they have DARED, smiple

No - good players no doubt, BUT in average sides.........
My point was that we seem to show far too much respect to these teams.......that's all...
