Me and my brother received Purple Cards from Stoke City, explaining about the risks of Chlamydia seems a very bizarre thing for a football club too send, so i hope i'm not the only one whose recieved it ;D Says on the card - You have been sent this promotional flyer because you are aged between 16 and 24 and are a supporter of Stoke City F.C. Also goes onto advertise a competition, saying you could win a signed Stoke shirt from the 07/08 promotion winning team, for free. All very bizarre any else received one?

Luke - at the Chelsea game I noticed that there was a banner near the away carpark advertising Chlamydia. When I say advertising, I don't mean that they were offering it for sale. ;D Presumably this is all part of some Community initiative they are involved with - dunner worry about it - unless you get it of course!

They had an advertising board at pitch level between the Boothen and East stands about Chlamydia. Obviously as a youngster your may well be sexually active and therefore it is wise to get yourself tested once in a while.
I tend to go twice a year (when not in relationships) to get tested, even if I have used protection all the time. It is a free service which doesn't hurt at all. The test is a lot less intrusive than it used to be. Go and get tested. Think of it as a servicing, like a car. Best to keep the thing ticking over smoothly.

I'm too old to get a card! - This is blatant ageism!!!
I want my clap advisory card!!!!
Obviously the club don't think I'm "cool" enough to catch an STD...
'an hour later'
Well, I've just gone out and been with a dirty prossie.
Consequently my knob looks like a blood orange and smells like a suicide in a cheese shop.
AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT STOKE CITY F.C.
"weeps"

Chlamydia might not do blokes that much harm but it can make your girlfriend infertile and store up other problems later for her too - come on, you don't really want to do that to any woman for the sake of a quick test do you??
