I've been tasked with finding a Stoke birthday cake for my lad who's 8 in a couple of weeks. ASDA are not allowed to print any SCFC brand so that's my cheap idea buggered. I'd be grateful for ideas/recommendations.
Not related but can you laser print marzipan

Try the eBay idea. Done summat like that from eBay before but a diffreent picture for my sisters 6th bday. Seemed pretty easy. Think mine was around £4.50 altogether??? It's easier too!

Thanks folks, much appreciated. You'd think the club shop would sell something. £28 for a cake, value £45 I might start a sweat shop filled with kidnapped WI members. I'll try fleaBAY today or may nip down Longton market. Is that open every day?

We got one for my cousin last year. Just texted my old man to see where he got it from and I will post back on here when he is on his dinner.

How about:
Couple of packs of rolling icing, some red food colouring. Buy a basic sponge cake (square) and cut strips of icing about 2" thick. Put the stripes on the cake, then put on a couple of the little plastic footballers. Not the badge, but still a red and white striped caked and a hell of a lot cheaper.

Thanks Miss Piggy, great idea. All suggestions welcome. The hairy baker approach had crossed my mind.
