Just get FIFA instead boys. Danny: for the first time in quite a few years I succumbed and bought Fifa a couple of weeks ago (I've been laid up off work and hoped it would keep me occupied). Have played it pretty much solidly since then and have been impressed. It looks great, the licenses are good and it plays OK. But it rarely makes me feel as though it's a football match. It's just a game. I continue to put the ball into the top corner and the keepers continue to pull them out. It seems that to keep the scores realistic, they just make the keepers incredible. After all these matches I'm not desperate to get back and give it another go. With Pro Evo, every year I play it from the launch date to the evening of the next years release. If you like the glossy side, the polish without the in depth game play then Fifa is great. Otherwise I'm sure I'll be playing Pro Evo for the next 12 months. Fifa 2009? Well, that will be brought out every few weeks/months I guess.

I just don't get how anyone can like PES. From what I have played on the demo the game feels horrible. It's like playing a little 5 year olds game.
With PES it's just run and score, run and score. With FIFA it takes much more skill which makes it realistic. Strikers in real life don't just run and score every few seconds.

Is this the same realistic FIFA game that cannot seemingly understand the advantage rule? It seems that everytime you get near to the goal, the ref blows for a foul that happened 5 mins before.

There's no way you've played this years version if you think it's all run and score shit..

I admit the advantage rule is not right. EA have said they working on a patch to fix certain issues.
If your game has a problem I can gurantee you wouldn't be able to speak to the Line producer about it.
Your game is miles behind FIFA in many aspects. Why would I want to play with the Potteries when I can play with Stoke.
FIFA is the real simulation game and Many reviews back me up on this. Face it.
By the way I have played this years version which is the demo and scoring is so easy when you know how to.
