tickets.acdc.com/You could try this. It'll cost you around £22.00 to join the fan club. There are no UK dates confirmed yet, but there are ones in Europe during February and March. April or May could be a good bet, unless they tour elsewhere and then return to Europe in the Autumn of 2009.

Yeah they will deffinetly be playing Download, We've had all the other classic bands there, Kiss, Judas priest, Motorhead, Metallica, GnR, Maiden, testament, anthrax and thats just download, list gets bigger when you include the monsters of rock from years back...ACDC were one of the first bands to play Donington!

Good times indeed sidders. Apart from when GnR played and there was that crush and those kids died . Heavy stuff. There were 108,000 people there that day.

Yeah the GnR incident was really not nice though I have to say the band were incredible it was just as before AXL became a real twat. Agreed. GnR were the most amazing band when they came out. My mate saw them in london with faster pussycat on their first tour but donington was my first. My first MOR was '87. Bon Jovi, Dio, Metallica, Anthrax, WASP, Cinderella

84 was mine and it was immense. Still remember DLR with Van Halen been on top form that day. Also Ozzy with Jake E Lee on the Guitar too. Thats a top one, van halen with dlr, never the same when he left. Red hot on their day. Did ratt play that year

I dunna think Ratt played Donnigton....if they did I must of been that pissed I missed them. I know they were backup band to Ozzy in 85 I think same year as Motley had Cheap Trick as special Guest. I saw both gigs at Manchester Apollo. God I miss those days where no fucker could tell me where or when I could go somewhere Ratt played in '85. M-O-R has its own wikipedia entry with all the line ups
