First time I've looked at the board for two weeks and in that time the mood has changed here big time. Why so negative?

Lack of goals, lack of ideas, lack of entertainment in the last three games. A loss against a very poor Tottenham side and we are as good as down my friend

If Hull and West Brom were in the same position then there wouldnt be any great fuss. But with them having better results so far has convinced everybody that Brown and Mowbray are tactical genius' whereas Pulis is a dinosaur

To be fair i think we've actually started OK. We've had some very tough fixtures to start with and nobody has made us look like mugs. That being said we have been far too negative and sit way too deep when we dont have the ball and that just invites pressure. Overall i think we've defended OK but we're asking them to do too much by not pushing out and creating some pressure of our own. Teams can pile forward because they know if they lose the ball we only ever have 1 left up front at the most.
The biggest problem, and why i think people are so negative, is because our so-called competitors (Hull, WBA, Bolton, Sunderland, Wigan) have all started pretty well so we are playing catch-up already. Surely nobody can expect Spurs & Newcastles poor form to continue all season and therefore i'm a lot less hopeful now. I was hoping 32-35 pts may have a chance to keep us up but with some of the results so far you have to think the old fashioned 40pts will be needed at least and unless we turn over most of our direct rivals i can't see us getting that many.
I've not given up just yet though so try and keep the faith a bit longer boys ... at least until we've fucked up some winnable home fixtures ;-)

We have started ok? 1 win and 1 draw. One can not wait until we hit a bad patch.

First time I've looked at the board for two weeks and in that time the mood has changed here big time. Why so negative? Is that you on your avatar? you should of gone to specsavers mate. We're appauling ATM and dont look like attacking, never mind scoring. Yes we will be relegated if things dont change.

We hate started ok? 1 win and 1 draw. One can not wait until we hit a bad patch. I know what you mean fella but if you'd predicted some scores and results before the season started i'd be surprised if many Stokies would be able to predict many more than 6 pts at this stage If you look at the next couple of months we have a lot more games we can hope to get points from. This will be our chance to stay in the thick of things though and if we dont take a few chances we'll be fooked by Xmas. 18 Tottenham (H) - hopefully 25 Man City (A) - will be tough 28 Sunderland (H) - need something November 1 Arsenal (H) - i'm not hopeful 8 Wigan (A) - big game 15 Man Utd (A) - no chance 22 West Brom (H) - must win 29 Hull (H) - must win December 6 Newcastle (A) - need something 13 Fulham (H) - must win 20 Blackburn (A) - must win Like i said the reason it seems so bad at the moment is Hull and the Baggies good starts but to be fair they have had easier fixtures.
