Mark Bright is summerising but surely Shearer will be in the box at the ground giving his expert opinion on the Geordies as for the commantator probably Steve Wilson,as long as it isnt Jacki Oakley.

tinyurl.com/2ok885 BBC Site Gary Lineker will be at the Britannia Stadium to see if three-time FA Cup semi-finalists Stoke City can take the scalp of perennial under-achievers Newcastle United (1745 GMT, BBC ONE). Injuries and all-too-familiar defensive frailties have undermined Newcastle in the early part of the season and they must hope Michael Owen can stay fit to make his first FA Cup appearance for Newcastle in his third season with the club. Championship side Stoke have plenty of players with Premier League experience and, having narrowly missed out on the play-offs last season, are once more targeting promotion to the top-flight. Expert analysis comes from Alan Hansen, Alan Shearer and Garth Crooks. Jonathan Pearce and Mark Bright will be in the commentary box at the Britannia Stadium.

If Garth "I'm so far up the FA's Arse" Crooks is there Sunday, I will personally verbally abuse the smug git.
Hopefully the rest of the Boothen will join in as well
I conna stand the guy!

It will be interesting to see if Stoke born Garth dares to wheel out his plummy BBC tones when back home.
If it's one thing I conna stand, it is people forgetting where they came from.
At least Mark Bright (and Robbie Earle for that matter) still has a Potteries twang.

Marvellous. Jonathan Perarce really grates on me for some reason. His voice always seems more suited to "tabloid" radio like Talk Sport. Dunno why, but I always think he wants to take the breaks off and go "READ THE MATCH REPORT IN TOMORROW'S SUPERSENSATIONALSOARAWAY SUUUUUN!!!" - Still, I'll be at the game so it won't bother me. Til I watch our triumph on the Sky+ recording later! ;D

I've always prefered the bbc coverage to sky, always seems more spontaneous (sp)
Will be good to see what hansen thinks of a Pulis team defensively, even though we're a bit poorer in that area from last year.
''Wheres the marking'' ''That shawcross laddy is unbelievable'' ''you canny win anything with kids, which is great 'cos stoke dont have many'' etc etc
Although he was a hero of mine, can't wait to see shearers face at full time!
