If this was our XI: Sorensen - Free Griffin - £300K Cort - £1.2M Ab. Faye - £2.25M Higginbotham - £2.5M Delap - Free Amdy Faye - £1M Olofinjana - £3M Lawrence - £500K Kitson - £5.5M Fuller - £500K that side is valued at £16.7M Interesting really, and just shows how difficult it's going to be up against the big guns of the league, where even the likes of Spurs have players valued more than the whole of our squad ( David Bentley £17M ). To be honest i think we need to invest more in January, with at least another £5-8M spent on players, Pulis has a knack of finding good players at good prices, so i think that amount of money would go along way. Just for anyone's interest here is the other sides valuations:20. Hull City - £6.9M 19. Stoke City - £16.7M 18. Blackburn Rovers - £20M 17. West Brom - £21.2M 16. Wigan Ath. - £22M 15. Bolton Wanderers - £29.1M 14. Fulham - £29.7M 13. Middlesbrough - £34.5M 12. Portsmouth - £39.2M 10/11. West Ham - £45.8M and Newcastle Utd - £45.8M 9. Sunderland - £47M 8. Arsenal - £51.2M 7. Everton - £53.4M 6. Aston Villa - £54M 5. Man City - £82.2M 4. Liverpool - £104.4M 3. Tottenham - £114.9M 2. Chelsea - £132.5M 1. Man Utd - £153.3M Tottenham Hotspur's valuation shows just how bad they are doing at the moment. And Liverpools Valuation shows what a magnificent point we achieved.

Morning Luke. As a matter of interest - where did you get the figures from?
PS - Delap was £500k wasn't he amd Fuller's fee may well have risen to £1 million by now - it had several contingency payments attached.

Stumbled across these in a football magazine called Match, hardly the most accurate source i know. ;D Must admit though a few of the valuations some-what suprised me aswell, so don't shoot the messenger on this.

these aren't really valuations though they're how much the players cost not even Coates Mk I would sell Fuller for £500k and Ronaldo and Rooney alone would be worth over £100m for Man Ure

It would be really interesting to see the cost/value of the squads. I'm betting that Manures third eleven is probably worth more than our first eleven!

'Pulis has a knack of finding good players at good prices'
This is looking less and less true as each transfer round passes

Bit of a farce really - on the basis of their calculations Giggs is worth 0, and O'Shea, Fletcher, Micah Richards etc etc you get my point.
What was paid and what they are now worth is totally different. The fact that our players are now playing in the Prem means that their value automatically rises. Lawrence is worth more than 500k and Fuller definitely is!

Ab Faye has turned out to be a great buy, no argument there, but he really wanted Ledley King didn't he.
Do you honestly think that his performance in the transfer market this summer was good? From what I see for a start he's spent £10m on a player who doesn't fit our system and two players he doesn't trust to play.

Load of rubbish, we have paid out over £20 million so it's not really representative..
You could throw Diao in and Wedderburn and even Buxton?

What an immense achievement it will be when we survive this season!! ;D ;D ;D
