Nobody seems to bother with lane 1.

Did about 300 miles today on motorways - must have pulled in from lane 3 to lane 1 about 30 times without one of the darned buggers thinking "well there's nothing in front of me. There's nothing to the left of me except that car that's just overtaken me, well maybe I could speed up everyone's journey and keep to the left".

People who don't follow the motorway code should be banned, those middle lane drivers are the scourge of others. it is a £1000 fine to middle lane hog, but has anybody ever been charged with it.

This afternoon down the M56 there was a wide load taking up lanes 2 and 3 whilst trying to overtake lorries in lane 1, It had an escort vehicle with it as well; leaving me and a huge queue of traffic behind it as it couldn't overtake the 4 lorries in a line in Lane 1, where's the traffic police when you need 1

On my way up to Manc the other day I was in the overtaking lane, some prick in a BMW was tanking up behind me doing about 90, undertook me and slammed on the brakes so he could tailgate the poor sod in front.

Was on the M6 yesterday on way to Blackpool. Got to jct 26 (i think) where it goes off on the M61 to Leeds ect and its 4 lanes briefly for about a mile or 2. Anyway i was kind of boxed in behind this old bloke in a fiesta or something when he decided to slow down from about 55 to 45mph then just veered right (2 lanes) to get into the right lane to carry on on the M6. I nearly slammed into the idiot and he nearly caused an accident thru the speeding traffic in 2 lanes that nearly ploughed into him!

My own personal hate on motorways are tailgaters! I fucking hate them! I got 2 signs in my car with baby on and child on board yet still some dickheads persist with trying to get 2 feet from my bumper! Bloody wankers!

It's quite f***ing obvious, if they had 2 lanes everyone would drive in the outside 1, so you'd have all the traffic in 1 lane.

What we should do is build 27 lane motorways, then there would be 26 lanes available for us to use

my pet hate is people with "baby on board" stickers , and , whats your point my brakes, tyres, eyes and reactions aren't going to get any better because you have one , all you are doing is creating more blind spots in your own field of vision , windows are there to look out of, not advitise the fact you are a "Breeder"

- people who drive with their lights on in broad daylight - even seen some doing so whilst wearing sunglasses!

ID. Do you have a Stoke sticker/mini kit/scarf in your back window? If not, what are your opinions on people who 'advertise' the team they follow? I personally have a Stoke mini kit in my back window as well as the kids signs. I also have a clear view thru the centre of my back window as well as having 2 decent wing mirrors.

Im also pretty good at 'breeding' as the fact i have 2 kids is proof!

If it was tongue in cheek ID, then fair do's. If not then you are clearly talking out of your arse and must have an inability to breed!

I used to get my own back strangelad, you want to see their faces when you pull a bottle out of a tank bag at 70mph and take a swig from it, or feeding a twix through an open visor . Or the best one cruising down the motorway smoking with a flip face helmet up . I never could get the cigs to light on the move , even with a "wind proof" lighter up behind the screen of my K1100LT , used to duck off at an exit, light one up and carry on . Mind you I was at an advantage . Ex Police bike, headlight on, big white bike, they just used to melt into the middle lane for me

Tail gaters should be banned and fined £000s then jailed for a second offence, on ordinary A roads if i get one i just slow down till they get the message, i also indicate late for a left turn giving them no chance to get past safely, Out of 5 mornings a week going to work i get at least 3 that almost follow me into the newsagents they are that close.

i think that before you are allowed on the motorway , you should be given a different test. its one thing passing your test at 30mph doing fancy 3 point turns and all that shit, but travelling in excess of 70mph i think half of them are to scared to change lanes , so they get in that middle lane and dunna move for miles. i was coming back from blackpool the other week at about 11pm and the amount of times i had to go in the fast lane to overtake some of the numptys was unbelievable.

i was going down the m6 inside lane the other week in my (restricted 54mph) 7.5 tonne truck and a guy in an audi sat in the middle lane next to me for over 2 mile making and then eating a bowl of fucking cereal !

as for tailgaters i usually quickly turn my lights on then off (if its daytime) so for a second they think i'm braking, if its dark and my lights are already on i do the same thing with my rear foglights.
