en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Premier_Academy_League_2008-09For those who don't know the first and last 5 gamnes of the season are played against teams from other groups with the other 18 being the other 9 in your group home and away. Looking at Stoke having 7 points and being 8th, with a game in hand, and the fact that 7 points would put us in a much higher position in each other group it is safe to say we are in the toughest group. If you look to the right hand side at the top you can see that this season Man City, 3rd in our group, have the record win so far 9-2 away at Middlesboro and have scored 24 goals in 5 games. Add in Man Utd, who we play at home on Saturday, Liverpool, Crewe, who do seem to be struggling lately, and Everton and it is plain that our lads face tough opposition and this can surely benefit them. Can't wait for Saturday first Man Utd then Chelsea. P.S. A note about Chelsea. Bottom of their group with 4 points. Just goes to show what a waste of time their club is without Abramovich's billions. Hope Man City don't go the same way with their academy.
