.... I'm trying to connect two computers, I was thinking about getting PC Anywhere, have any of you used it? If so is it any good?
Or if you have any ideas for other software, that would help.
Ta in advance.

What do you mean by connect them? Are they already on a network?
Do you want to control one using the other or just share files between them?

Yes mate, they are both at home; one in the loft and the other in the living room. They're both connected to a Linksys router. I've tried to do it via the router, but didn't really understand how. One is wirless but the other isn't, its connected via cable to the router. I want to access the one downstairs while I'm listening to the match commentary and the like. Plus the other way, when I'm downstairs.

Each computer on your home network is will have it's own local IP address.
Enable remote desktop on each computer in Start>Control Panel>System>Remote> tick allow users to connect remotley to this computer.
Make sure both machines have a password setup on the windows login.
Then run RDP (start>programs>accesories>communications>remote desktop connection) on one machine type the computer name of the machine you want to control in the box and click connect.
The comuter name is it's full computer name found at controlpanel>system>computer name>full computer name (ignoring the fullstop at the end)

Fuck me Dave, are you actually clever?
I never saw that one coming.
Blackjet, if what Dave says fails, try turning the computer off and back on again then when you try to access the other computer hold your left arm in the air and sing “Baby Got Back”.
Hope it works pal.
Good luck.
