Is tony scholes planning to move away from red and white stripes beacause it seems immpossable to get anything from the club shop. Every time ive gone to order a home shirt online anything over a medium seems to be always out of stock. The womens shirts are the same, only ever have a size 8, as i was going to get the future wife one. Finally gave in today and was going to get the away one, then went to get my little un a t shirt and baby grow in the stripes and guess what, all out of stock?????????????????? Do they acctually not have any in or is the online shop just a sack of poopie?

They don't seem to realise that keeping some stock in is a good idea. Maybe they did and it ran out but still they could keep it stocked up better. Its terrible really but do we expect anything different?

my lady tried to get me the dressing robe and slippers about a month ago and they still are out of stock. total rubish how the shop is run. they must lose thousands of pounds every month. best thing to do is write a letter to peter coates, im sure he would be interested in how much money he is losing out on because no one could be arsed to manage the club shop properly.

There were robes in there the other day.
No more shirts after this batch was told on Monday as a new strip to be launched at the end of the season. Not sure how reliable the girl in the shop who mentioned this is as she did struggle to put a sentence together. One plus point in that if true is we might get rid off the dire yellow away kit.

I have explained this before on another thread, but for the benefit of those that missed it Because Stok have a lower end shirt manufacturer in Le Coq they cant turn around shirts as fast as the likes of Nike. If the Club ordered 2000 shirts today it would be 3 months before they arrived in the shop, right bang in the middle of the shop sale. At that point you would be approaching the end of the season and they have to be discounted meaning the club would lose money on each shirt. Im told the shop took a gamble this year and ordered 3 times as many shirts as they did last season, all of which sold out. First season in the prem they will always be finding their feet so to speak as regards to stock levels because nobody can predict exactly what will sell in what quantity. Next season should give a better idea and the shop will run smoother.

I mean if you want to re-stock it takes 3 months!!!!!!!!!i would have thought negos would end at that point. They're bloody football shirts not weapons of mass destruction. The worst of it all is on Boxing Day, theres a lot of Chrimbo money waiting to be spent and the club missed out

I dont think anyone could have predicted the massive shirt sales though, the club knew they were going to increase and ordered a lot more than usual, they just didnt think they were going to increase that much. At the time Le Coq came onboard I imagine that shirt manufacture and turnaround wasnt that much of an issue because the club only had one or two orders and didnt run out.

Miss Piggy if what you say is true then how come Man City don't have the same problem as they have Le Coq as their suppliers of strips? As for next year, don't worry - there will be enough for 2each when we are back in the Championship i'm afraid, so the shop won't have such a problem. On another note if the players are swopping shirts at the end of every match does this mean we will only have away shirts for them to play in at the end of the season? lol

Get some from Sunderland - they'll have plenty and other than the club badge and sponsor it's the same crappy Le Coq strip
