I was in the club shop before the match & 2 blokes were talking behind me.
"I think the yellow shirts are their away colours"
"Ah yes" said the other, "so the red and white stripes must be their home colours. That would explain it."
I was shocked!

Our club is a total shambles. NOT ONE item in the club shop with 'ANSELLS' on it. We don't even sell Ansells at the BritVic Stadium. What the hell must our sponsors think of us? ???

Funny I was just walking over the D Road bridge when this youth came up to me and asked if it was OK to walk with me. Thought initially Id pulled but he explained that he was a neutral, just visiting on a day out and that some Stoke 'fans' had been following him thinking he was Everton. He was cacking himself so I said no probs and he was really grateful. These lads were all togged out in Stone Island and were pointiing at him so I hope I helped him out. Sad state of affairs though eh ?

Very sad Stokemark, that type piss me off no end, if you want trouble go get it cos there's plenty that do but to pick on the fans who obviously don't want any wether wearing a shirt or not is a shithouse thing to do.....and you did'nt get a shag !

My point was really that I had no idea where these blokes were coming from. They were both English & middle aged. No discernable accent as such. They weren't completely sure what colours we play in so obviously not particularly keen football fans as such?
Just corporates on a jolly maybe but I found it rather strange conversation.
