Me and the other half are getting married the day before the wigan game so ive booked us into one of the hospitality suites for the match. Theyre doing a special 'fan day' for £55 per person plus vat. www.wiganlatics.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Hospitality/0,,10429~1349151,00.html Not bad value at all.

I will be going into hibernation for this game , I stopped enjoying this game after they beat us 6-1 and my wigan supporting wife took the piss summat cronic to the point I had to do something to shut her up . So i told her say one more word about the game and I'd stab her , it did the trick , and of course i wasn't serious but it kind of soured the whole thing for us, we hate this fixture now

I've planned an away day too. Instead of my normal attire I have decided to carry a basket full of racing pigeons under one arm....a rugby ball under the other, and don a meat and potato pie on my head...
I feel that I could be accepted as one of their own....or at least be sectioned under the mental health act.

I wouldn't, but it was the first thing that came into my head that would shut her up

If you download the hospitality brochure it says about the discounted rates for the fan days for Stoke and dull matches. Emailed the commercial department and they said it was £55.

The Commercial department at Wigan is something akin to that of Port Vale...
I doubt if they have even been decimalised yet....altho' I have heard that they buy their corn for the pigeons in Kilos , instead of Imperial measurements.

I've never liked playing Wigan either. Not the most appealing fixture.

I might have free tickets in coperate for this, so i'll go, i imagine anyone who wants to go to this game will get a ticket, judging iff wigan's allocation, and if it comes to the worst, stoke fans who didn't get a ticket in the stoke end, will get one in the wigan end....

I've never enjoyed playing Wigan since Brynjar Gunnarsson scored that last minute own goal that time to deny us the 3 points!
