Talking shite about putting Celtic or Rangers in the Prem.
I said we waited 23 years to get in and they want to put them straight in before teams like us Wolves Brum Leeds etc who have been or are trying to in the Prem for years.

I agree, if Celtic and Rangers want to be in the Prem they start at the bottom like everyone else. They have no right to walk into it and I think they'd both struggle to be fair. I can't see it happening, if they did stupidly agree to it they should expand the league to include two more teams so that it doesn't affect anyone else. Not that it will happen.

Stokemark, No. I used to hate him, but now I apprieciate that when he wore an England shirt (not very often) he wore it with pride and passion I wish the current crop would try half as hard as him. Muncihappie,

Stupid idea! It won't be allowed as they are classed as another country (FIFA rules?) and would you want the jocks coming down causing mayhem a la Manchester a month or two back?

It should never happen. The jocks don't want anything to do with the English at all so why should we allow them into our country to play football? That Roman bloke had the right idea building that wall, only thing is he should of made it bloody bigger.

UEFA are apparantly in talks with Belgian & Dutch clubs about a possible merger of their Leagues so crossborder leagues may happen in the future.
I think it could make some sense in some area of Europe.

Berwick was at war with the Russians from the end of the Crimean war till 1966 (I think it was then) when they drew up a piece treaty!

if celtic and rangers join we may as well look a bit further afield and bring in some teams from france, holland and belguim?
why not? after all, portsmouth is closer to brugge and amsterdam than it is to glasgow
