Its gonna be a nightmare today on here with all the wristscutters.
To watch my team in the prem is fuckin fantastic and to see them spend 22 million is a dream .
Im not even dissapointed about Ledley the fee was far to high.
Tongue im happy with hes similar to Lawrence but left side and has a great shot.
I understand why hes got so many backs it gives him the option of 3 centrehalves away from home if he chooses.
To many people seem to want to take any opportunity to knock their own team.
The only dissapointment is we could have done with another Striker but Wigan put paid to that late on.
Absolute madness.
You wont bring me down ya barstewards.
I wanna go back to Broomes,Hill,Russell,Cooke,.

Yes, I'm glad we haven't got Ledley. Now that the window is shut I can think of at least 2 things to do with that money

Spot on Kev
Personally still think Ledley would have been great, and I think we will see him here in January

Spot on. We've come a million miles in the last 2 years and we've still got 10 time further to go to become a mid table premiership side. I've longed for the day when we could go out and sign other clubs best players, it's here now and i'm dam well enjoying it.

It's not all about wrist cutters though, we all knew what positions we really needed to fill it does'nt matter if the three last night were good signings they were'nt signings for the positions we needed, thats what people are concerned about. We are in the toughest league in the world and we have no real pace or width, we are going to be putting players out of position where any slight mistake will be punished as we have already found out. We need players playing in their proper positions where they are comfortable and give consistant performances. As for Pulis saying we have to be a little cleverer in the transfer market, we should have put the bid in for Ledley a week ago it would have given Ledley and his agent time to tell Cardiff he was'nt happy that it was turned down, he would have asked to be allowed to speak to us and then Cardiff are in the position of having an unhappy player on their books and they would have had no option really but to let him talk to us. Just my opinion.

The happy clappers are also out in force with complete with rose coloured specs.....Bertieb is spot on....most people could see at the end of last season that we needed pace full backs left sided midfielder and 2 strikers....wev'e packed the defence and central midfield and brought in Kitson....but that doesn't solve the problems that are still there. Time will tell of course and maybe all our signings turn to gold...lets hope so
