...Has told me something that could be a little dissapointing.
I have been told by a reliable source (who told me about Kitson & Faye well before announcement) that this 'exciting striker' is supposed to be none other than ex arsenal big gangly striker Kanu.
He was particularly confident about this.
I am not 100% sure, but if it is true what do we reckon? He can find the net thats for sure but is quite past it?
Would make Sidibe redundant in the team I reckon.
Edit: Heard last night from same source that is looking to be a loan deal for the season.

Can't see it bick, is he Pulis' type of striker? Yes, he's big and black, but he's prone to laziness and disappearing.

Well whan I heard, can't say I was chuffed. But if he scores a few then he will be worth it, because apparently he took a big pay cut last yr so would be too expensive on wages either.

Sure we could come up with a decent song with a first name like Nwankwo...

He didn't do a lot for WBA during their last stint in the Prem, from what I remember . IMHO I don't think we should be looking at veteran players past their prime, looking for a last premiership paycheck. And I don't think TP is, either. I still think we need a small and nippy striker to complement Ric or Kitson. Someone in the Steino mould.

I have heard the same from someone who always seems to be right! Could be credible, but I am not sure he is the type of player we should be looking at.

Noooooooooo...I think he's past it now to be honest. we need another 'exciting', pacey forward, not another donkey in the team...No thank you ;D

Not too excited about the prospect of this. Do we have to take anything that Harry throws at us??

I actually wouldn't mind him signing, on his day he's quality and can produce those moments of magic like Hoekstra. Certainly a step up from Mama on the bench.
Maybe Harry will do Pulis a favour being old friends and that. I'm not sure what wages he'll ask for but I guess it would be a minimal fee if this was true. Not really the work hard, cover every blade of grass type Pulis likes but it would add some quality to the side. Whether he'd be up for the move is a different question.

whilst i probably wouldnt call him exciting, he is better than what we have got (Mama) the 4 main strikers could then be
Kitson Fuller Kanu Cresswell

IMO That would be sweeeeeet. Don't get me wrong survival is paramount but we haven't had anyone with serious entertainment and wow factor since .... eerrrr .... i'm struggling ...... Hoekstra maybe and let's be honest not in Kanu's close.

Bet Leeds beat us to it at the last minute... ;D But if they don't, I'd love to see him here, he's still got the quality to turn a game and make a goal out of nothing. I'd also love to see Tone being ready to take the risk and Hooky is a great comparison.
