Griff was booed and slated at least twice after mis-placed passes. Idiots. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/4tzqvp1fxEemag_TAXLJ.gif)

I never heard it. Why do people feel the need to boo their players? Especially someone like Griff who is clearly out of sorts and has been for a while. Do they think that by booing him it will spur him into a Prem winning performance or actually change Pulis's mind about him? Fucktards! I will and never have booed any player in a Stoke shirt (even lethal Keith) it makes no sense and is counterproductive. Forums like this are where questions about players should be addressed. If players decide to read them, well that's up to them and they have to be prepared for some harsh words, but what they do not deserve is to be booed by an element of mindless spackbags on matchday because it doesn't just affect that one player.

He was our best defender on Saturday,so why is he getting all this abuse? ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/cj7bsBj2jOTuEAUVaPt5.gif) Because as has already been said, he's the latest scapegoat. There has to be one amongst some Stoke fans. Someone they can blame, and abuse. He's not playing the best football of his career, but he's been made captain and we currently don't have a better replacement in TP's opinion. These are probably the same fans that were booing him at Bolton. It doesn't take a sports psychologist to tell you that it's counter-productive to boo your own players. FFS. ![>:(](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/MK1XRTh9jLIKdOoyx512.gif) Not that sure about a scapegoat, but he just looks like the week like in our defence everytime I watch, I didn't see much of the Bolton game so can't comment, but he looks poor in the Championship nevermind the Prem, I would never boo him though it wont exactly help him or the team. The best thing we can do is get behind the team even when we are put under pressure or getting batterd, booing wont get us anywhere.
