Next away match is Middlesborough, as we all know.
Well Bolton away is one thing i.e travel and cost wise but to go to Middlesborough the cost will almost definitely be double and not to mention the time spent sat traveling. I reckon you ain't going to get there or get back within four hours thus fucking up the whole weekend. But I still want to go so how can i justify it?
I may well make my mind after our performance on Saturday against Villa?
anyone else caught in between ?

not at all, had a chat with the missus and said that we would be staying over at boro, newcastle and cunterland due to the distance. she is fine with it. therefore it is justified.

How about, you send a lookalike in to work for you, preferably one from a third world country so that you only have to give him 0.0000000000000000000001% of your wage, and then go Stoke. Happy Happy Days

I reckon you ain't going to get there or get back within four hours thus fucking up the whole weekend. it's only 160 miles from Stoke, dual carriegeway and motorway all the way, 2 1/4 hours tops in a car not 4 hours. You aren't the guy I overheard once in the boothen saying you aint going Bournemouth as it's a 7 hour drive are you?

i really dont understand why people think the clubs in the north east are so far away!?!?
i might be wrong here but arent they all less than 200 miles away?
earlier in the summer i had to go to the passport office in durham, it took 2 and a half hours!
i just dont see how anyone can be put off going, you will be back 8.30-9.00 easy!

I'm trying to think of the best way to bring this up with the missus. She is not too receptive to the idea as the bolton game reached double figures in the drinking stakes followed by a nice sleep on the sofa until motd came one Then again, it is the last game for a fortnight

Borough has a great Saturday market , some fantastic pubs , is close to the Thames and a perfect place for a beer before Millwall v huddersfield.
Middlesbrough on the other hand has some smog...oh and some smog and is the perfect place to go and watch Stoke
Just make sure you set your sat nav for the right one

I reckon you ain't going to get there or get back within four hours thus fucking up the whole weekend. now you know what us exiles go through every home game at weekends . i leave about 9-30-10am and get home in time for match of the day . As for Boro , i don't need any justification, I'm going to stop over with an old friend from Uni who is a boro fan, and meet her hubby and kids , whom I haven't met before . Be nice to see her after all these years

Get up early have some breakfast, leave early, drink some beer, then a bit more, eat a pie, watch a little football through beer goggles.
Sleep on way home then drink a bit more beer, take kebab home and fall asleep to match of the day.
What more justification do you need ?
