That would be scandulous considering he publicly said he was happy at Scunderland when our interest was made known to him, how the ferk would a move to the Dingles help his career.

Hope he does go there, fucking wanker, he left us to be 'Billy big time' and now we're in the big time we can do it without the disloyal twat. We picked him up from Southampton reserves turned his fading career round and he treated us like shit. If we ever went in for him again we sould make him have the Stoke badge tattooed on his forehead to prove his loyalty before he signed the contract.

Football is nothing to do with loyalty. It's a job, a job they do for the MONEY!

There's NO sentiment left in football , the days of loving clubs passed in Sir Stan's era. He did very well for us, so i'll always like him. Footballers have families, they come first - and if a contract at Sunderland pays them twice as much as Stoke, they'll leave. And i certainly don't blame them!

worth signing just for his organisation and leadership which we were completely lacking on saturday.

He isn't good enough, simple. With a Premiership club now, not being chased by anyone other then a Championship club.

Agreeb Prem is probably beyond him else Keane would have kept him.

I woul think if we were interested and he was available for whatever price to someone else we could easily match and he would choose us - nothing to do with Keane

still worth signing I say, play him @ left back. Absolutely right Lord. It was so evident on Saturday that we have real problems at full back (nothing we didn't know already) and with Davies and Higgy, for in relative terms, next to nothing, problem solved

I'd definitely sign him for £1.25m-£1.5m.
And he's almost certainly better than Cort, and definitely more proven than Davies, who we're paying that fee for.
And it'd give Pulis his wet dream option of four 6 foot centre-halves playing across the defence.

He'd be a snip at that price. Good organiser and natural leader which is what we're lacking.
Can't see it happening now that we've signed Davies and Faye though.

faye is a far better CB and davies(from what ive heard) seems a far better full back and back-up for CB - saying that we cant have enough leaders in the team. wouldnt mind either way tbh

TP was suerly interested but after the Fulop debarcle has probably been told by Keane that we won't be dealing with Blunderland so he has turned his attentions elsewhere.

I think the chances of us doing any business with Blunderland are long gone after the Fulop fall out.

I am partly glad he has going there, he makes too many mistakes, and after keane's outburst, I don;t want stoke to fill their wallets.

I hope that price is right. To see them make a massive loss on a player in barely a year just to avoid doing business with us at a better price would sum Keane up to a tee. Fucking mardarse.

still worth signing I say, play him @ left back. Higgy is pants at left back, and that was in the Championship, I would take him at the price Wolves are offering, doubt Blunderland would do business with us now mind.

Perhaps one season being embarrassed by PL forwards is enough?
Also maybe a bit like Kev Phillips, as well, who prefers a season aiming for promotion (though he'd have taken the WBA money, if for two seasons) than fighting a relegation battle?
