Quite liked it myself, and have even read it twice. But the second time round i already knew the ending. Oh no, there wasn't an ending Nice to read a book about Stoke that doesn't include trying to prove how macho you are by "taking somebodies end"

Got it a few years ago - got very good critical acclaim at the time. Very funny and evocative of that season.
Not only does he follow the mighty Potters, but does so from Norwich - longer to travel to home games than most away games for me, and most of us.

Likewise, read it two or three years ago - but only because I was expecting Dave to be mentioned and was quite disappointed at the sole reference to him!
