I don't think anyone has written us off on here, but it shouldn't be a crime to say that we weren't good enough on Saturday, and for a good hour we were distinctly second best against a relegation rival.

We all want Stoke to do well..otherwise we wouldn't have bought season-tickets and be posting on here...and its absolutely vital that we give the lads 100% support against Villa..what we don't want are creeping negative-vibes that spread like a virus...precisely the sort of shyte that Hudsongob used to post..with all that red-card bollox On the other hand..there is nothing wrong with constructive criticsm..from which the team can learn and build upon... Villa will be a very interesting game...if we can get a point..we're not that bad at all...if we get thumped 4 or 5-0 ...then its back to the drawing-board

Why is away to Bolton thought of by many as easy and also a must win game?

I don't think anyone said it was easy.
Most of us thought we had a good chance of sneaking something there though, and they're a side who are going to be down there, bottom 6-wise, at the end of the season. It's was a poor performance and a disappointing result, but not the end of the world and hopefully a blessing in disguise.
