I work in Aston and have a lot of dealings with villa lads, they can't wait for saturday, they are pleased stoke are back as it is a local derby. To be fair they don't really slag us either, and they want us to stay up.
I know they have sold their allocation, however they are pissed off that Stoke Station will not be able to be used by them as the police won't let them.
I reckon we can get a sneaky win, but we will have to defend deep to stop their pace which does worry me.
GO'AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNNNNNNNNN STOKE

I also work with a load of Villa fans and to be fair, it's been probably 95% positive from them too!.
They had us down for promotion about 10 games in last season, even when I myself wasn't so sure.
Good lads on the whole!.

Saturday should be a cracker. I fully expect Villa to finish in the top 5. A really tough game. The atmosphere should be fantastic, we will need to be at our best to get a result. I'm convinced we can get one though!!!!

I had a long chat with a Villa fan as well today and he too is delighted to have another local game. He was fairly obviously over the moon with the way Villa played yesterday and who can blame him.
It was the first time I have seen him for a few weeks becuase of holidays etc but his view was that we have got ourselves a decent signing in Sorenson.
Described him as an "average Premier League keeper", who doesn't make many mistakes but isn't quite commanding enough for a team who want to play in Europe, which seems pretty fair. After all, if we could get 11 "average Premier League" players on the pitch, we would have no problem in surviving.

Not seen the full game, but watching Agbonlahor's goals from yesterday he looks a real handful. Not sure how we will cope with him to be honest, very interesting to see who Pulis sticks on him. If we can keep him quiet we have a chance but I don't think we have aybody with the presence or pace to match him (assuming Faye isn't match fit yet).

tbh, I don't think even if Faye is fit, you'll manage to keep a lid on Gabby. He's faster than Walcott..and Carew should worry you too. Villa are one of the best sides in the league now.

Villa, under Martin O Neil, are a very different kettle of fish than they used to be...a top 6 Club without a doubt..both in terms of the team and support...they also play some very attractive football...and are a pleasure to watch
In other words..just like us ;D

No-one mentioned Young yet either. I can remember he ripped us to shreds when Watford beat us 3-0 at our place a few seasons ago. And he's matured since then

Villa's pace scares the shit out of me, we just cannot handle pacy wingers and now the fact that Agbonlahor has been ignored by England will fire him up even more, backs to the wall? no way! if we believe then we can do it.
GOARNNNNN STOKE!!

There is hope
Villa conceded two goals at home to a very poor (IMO) Man Citeh side.
Yes, their pace is frightening, Carew is a handful, and the Liverpool transfer saga doesnt seem to have affected Barry, but we are at home in front of a full house so
GOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRNNNNN STOKE
