Milito:"No"
Scholes:"Hello Mr Garcia, would you like to sign for Stoke?"

Scholes: "Hello Mr Milito, would you like to sign for Stoke?" Milito:"No" Scholes:"Hello Mr Garcia, would you like to sign for Stoke?" Garcia:"No" Discussions over!!! But scholes did say his trip wasn't a wasted trip, unless he was trying to soften the blow that zigic wasn't signing, so perhaps talks were a little more encouraging than that. A season long loan of Milito isn't completely fantasy talk is it ? if we're looking for an expensive loan move, and their was talk of us splashing 4m for the loan signing of Pizzaro, so it would seem the money is there.

Would Scholes in the wake of criticism he has recieved come out and say my trip to Spain was a complete waste of time? Not wanting to appear negative, more realsitic. I would imagine there are much bigger fish than us wanting those two. But here's hoping as usual

No but he could have kept quiet, adding the bit about not the trip not being entirely wasted only raised expectations more, ... it is possible he was just softening the blow, or it could be that he was encouraged by the talks with zaragoza ?.

"Pigs flying" and "a million Sundays" comes to mind so i hope we're not wasting too much man power on these as surely they won't happen.
