I was playing footie myself so never got to see the game but heard they looked very, very good against Portsmouth!
Apparently Deco was ace!?
As much as I hate to say it - I think they will be the force to be reckoned with this season and will take some stopping!

if they can keep things sweet off the field they should win the League comfortably.
xmas tree formation yesterday & was good to watch. Pompey didnt turn up though.

They were very impressive. Not least because they won 4-0 and hardly seemed to break sweat.

Im severely fucking worried when we play them, especially if we play like we did for the first 45 on saturday. Deco was outstanding and we cannot afford to let him run at us like we do a lot against teams.

With Deco, I think they will be a lot more offensive this season and will prove to be their success. Lampard will hold and let Deco get forward - dangerous!

I think the best chance we have would be for Parkin to stick the ball up his jumper and run off with it. Or possibly if The Oatcake became the matchball sponsor, they could presumably withdraw their sponsorship in the second minute and take the ball home with them, then there is always the possibility of one of those Indonesian sponsoered "floodlight failures".....

You could see the Brazilian influence in the way that when Pompey got the ball at the back Chelsea dropped off.

Not a fan of Chelski but had to admire their play against Pompey on Sunday. Pure attacking football from start to finish. When I saw the team sheet I thought they looked immense on paper, turns out they've stepped up on the field too. Completely outshined a Pompey side who didn't turn up. Looks like ol' Harry needs to buy another 12 players to make up for the gaps in his side on Sunday.
