Looking around the forum, everybody seems to have their own view on the team, but with most people outlining Kitson as the hero of this season.
Personally, I believe that Ricci has far more potential to upset defences in the premiership, he is pacey and has good skill where as Kitson is a penalty area assassin.
Although I think that Kitson is a superb signing, I personally think that Fuller is a better player, even against Bolton, Fuller got a goal and his runs caused trouble for the defence. His biggest weapon is his confidence, and he will upset a lot of defences this year. I was slightly worried about his ability against premier teams, but I think along side kitson and with the support of these better players he will fly.
So personally, I think Fuller should be played every game as I believe he is our best threat. What do you lot reckon? Kitson more of a threat??

Fuller is quality, he has the ability to beat players, create and score goals.
Kitson will hopefully deliver goals and has undoubted ability too, 2 completely different players.

I completely agree, feel that Fuller has almost been neglected as Kitson has come in. Fuller is a king!!

Both will have a part to play, but Kitson will be the man for me with Fuller being a bit part player.
I expect a striker to come in who's on the same wavelength as Kitson.
Ric is a brilliant sub to bring on.

You think Ricci should be used as a sub Bogdan? I agree that he comes on and creates hell, but would be great from the start for me.

i think that Ric is the perfect impact sub. comes on when defenders are tiring, they have trouble with him when they're not tired. look at Wolves away

Playing Fuller from the start would be suicide for me, he'll play every week if Pulis can't get his targets but we can get better than him. We need the whole team working as a team, he'll just be another Kamara in my opinion - unplayable in the championship but won't cut it in the top flight. A player such as Kevin Doyle is needed, a goalscorer who puts a big shift in. I know nothing, he could net 20 this season - but getting a top striker in to play alongside Kitson is needed, we can't rely on Ric to score anymore than 5 goals. Fuller will have a big impact on our season come what may, but we need someone a bit more reliable on hitting the net to start. We can't afford one of our strikers to go on a run of no goals in 16 games as Fuller did last year.

The fact that Fuller and Kitson are totally different players means they could form a very good partnership. What impressed me with Kitson was hi intelligence. He has some very deft touches, gets free kicks, and links the play very well and then gets in the box. Fuller is explosive. You dont know what hes gonna do when he gets it. I dont think at times that Fuller himself knows which makes him such an exciting player. I think we do need another striker in the Kitson category to add competition. The main weaknesses are very obvious as we all know. We need a left sided midfielder who is good on the ball and two full backs who can defend and pass. Davies may be a good RB but I feel we need to at least add another LB. I personally think we need to go for Hunt of Reading or Larsson of Brum for the LM slot. Alternatively, we could go for Ledley or Surman of Southampton. I do think Pulis will sort us out as we got a major shock and a kick up the arse on Saturday.

Don't think Kitson will replace Fuller, I do hope he'll complement him. I think we've got two extremely good forward men, who I look foward to see playing together. You don't need me to spell out Fullers qualities, they're there for all to see. Kitson is a different style of player, not a better or worse player. He certainly doesn't give the ball up easily when challenged when IN possession, and chases it as well to GAIN possession. I was more than pleased with his show at Bolton, and think we've acquired a quality player.

I think they could make a potentially excellent pairing, but they need service, from both flanks and a link man at the top end of midfield.

There is no reason why Kits and Fuller can't be a successful partnership. Especially as I see Kits being more valuable when it comes to passing and holding up the ball. Biggest factor is the lack of wingers...going down the middle is like no man's land. No chance. Need decent balls into the box for both Kits and Fuller to play with.
