It doesn't sound anything like illegal tapping to me. It is fairly clear that we have agreed a fee BEFORE we spoke to the player and his agent. The player was at Bolton yesterday and there is no way that would have happened if Southampton were not aware of the situation.
If the Southampton board choose not to keep their manager up to date on this sort of thing that is Southampton's problem and not ours.

We ideally need to sign fit players Spot on. We really need players who can come into the team straight away not in a months time. He maybe a decent prospect but can we really afford the time to nurse him back to full fitness. |
