As i posted on the previous thread, you have saved my arse from some serious fuckin heartache, thanks, more karma from me cheers for the karma, but my karma levels don't bother me any more, its the result of a few internet stalkers with too much time and too little imagination after you said that i thought maybe this needed a wider audience, or there could be some seriously peed off people luke45 : contact Lakelandpotter (AKA Fornside)

Couldn't suit me better that engineering work Spent nearly €200 so far on my tickets & flights for the Villa game. Flying in to East Midlands at 09.00 am - was going to catch the train? Flying back from Manchester about 22.00 ish - was going to catch the train. Will have to scratch me head over the next week and come up with plan B ???

you'll still be able to get to and from stoke station but part of your journey will be by bus so will take slightly longer, i was going to come back from leeds festival for the game but the journey back will take an extra 2 hours so i'd miss rage against the machine and that's not going to happen even for my beloved stoke i'm afraid

Even with a coach "service" it'll be easier than trying to get off the par cark If you're coming from the North West - Buy train ticket to Stoke, get off at CREWE and get the coach (via alsager & kidsgrove) to (outside) Stoke station. Get coach (outside stoke station) back to crewe and get back on train. Note: Or you could get off at Wilmslow and get coach, but I reckon (know) Crewe will be quicker If your coming from the south - buy train ticket to stoke. Get off at CREWE and get the coach (via alsager & kidsgrove) to (outside) Stoke station. Get coach (outside stoke station) back to crewe and get back on train. Note: You should get off at CREWE, not Stafford, as 1000-odd villa fans will do that, and the coaches will be stuffed (BTW: all villa fans are odd) If your coming from east (or north east) - Get Derby to Stoke train - get off at Blythe Bridge and get coach. Get coach (outside stoke station) back to blythe and get back on train to Derby and beyond. It really inner that hard ... OK, it really shouldn't be that hard. ah

I'll be travelling up from Birmingham, and until your post just Andy, i hadn't even thought about having to share a train with them lot. It's either the excitement or lack of sleep through keep checking this board for transfer news thats messing me up...

Stafford will be a nightmare. The old bill prob wont let them away from the station and people wont get near until the villa fans have left. Looks like I will be driving and abandon the car at the newstead estate and have a little walk up the hill.

I'll be at work, i just replied by PM saying that I saw it mentioned on the southern stokies website and thought it needed a wider audience . but that regular travellers check these things because weekends is when they do these works .
Hatchett: given those times you should have plenty of time , even using the replacement bus service

Have BBC Radio Stoke contacted any of you on this? They are doing a piece on this tomorrow. I'm on this ;D
