Steino was a phenomenal player for us, and Hooky was a prodigious talent , but I've believed for a while that Sir Ricardo just has the edge as our best player of the last 25-30 years - and is probably our best player since Mark Chamberlain?
Chambo really was phenomenal, at the top level, and had the talent to be a 50-cap England man IMO .

An on form Fuller is the best player in this whole division I reckon - not that I've done an extensive survey or anything.

Till today I thought he was right up there with Steino, now he's on his own. He was totally unplayable today.

On his day a fantastic player! Just one goal away from being the top scorer of this league too!

Fuller is even more golden than The Golden One himself.
I would say he is the best striker that I have seen in 20 years of watching Stoke.

Well, I saw a lot of Chamberlain's performances and I certainly wouldn't include "phenomenal" in my description of him - intermittently very good but frequently very average, and didn't like being tackled, I'd say

Great to have him on a long contract. I know money will always talk but its going to have to shout to get him away from Stoke

I said many times on the old board that Ricardo is one of the best players I've seen in 28 years of watching Stoke
Sure he will probably sometime have more barren spells and we need to stick by him but he his quality
Too good for West Brom

Fuller is fantastic, but Steino showed people that he could make it at top level too! Didn't he score 7 or 8 goals on the trot for Chelsea after they bought him from us?

7 games in a row, 13 goals in 17 games in the Premier League in the season he left Stoke (21 goals in 29 games that season).

Ricardo was absolutely phenomenal today... i'm over the moon we've got him on a longer contract.
As has been stated before, he's almost certainly got to be the best striker in this division on his day... definately the best player I've seen in a Stoke shirt in my relatively short period of watching the Mighty Potters.
I know at times he can be frustrating - especially his greed - but i believe that is what makes him such an awesome player and he scores the kinda goals he does, what with being a greedy bastard 'n' all ;D
