I'd just like to echo all the comments above. He looked very composed, never seemed to panic at anytime, and distributed the ball quite well. Lets hope he can keep that up and if so, we have a very decent signing on our hands.

I went tonight and he was one of the positives from the game, I was impressed with him. Interesting that for a short while in the 2nd half they tried him as the link up man between midfield and the lone striker.

Very impressive
Time on the ball, never wasted a pass, certainly looked the best of our players tonight
Kitson - seemed a bit lazy
Mama and Cressy - blatantly not good enough
Sorenson - kicking was very poor
Griff - total lack of pace
Ric - did him in the box and as usual we got nowt ???

Very drunk so apologise for spelling errors. Agree completely. Looked very calm and composed. Like Diao two seasons ago. Think Kitson will be a predator but think he may struggle in a side like ours..... Not gonna get those six yard chances. Hope he proves me wrong. Mama sound again.

Seyi, was definately the best player on the park last night.
Closely followed by Shawcross who could play for the full England squad in the next few seasons, I think he's that good.
The game was played in pre season friendly mode so it's hard to judge anyone in that environment compared to the full blown premiership matches.
However, even last night Cresswell & Griffin will not be good enough.
Soresnson had a stinker, I hope he becomes more assertive and confident for the curtain raiser against Bolton.
Kitson showed some quality touches but we need to hit his feet rather than pump long balls up to him.
Great to see that Ric appeared to have no ill effects with his knee injury.
Liam will need a few games before he gets anywhere near the level of his fitness of last season.
