I am confident that we will make the necessary additions to the squad over the next two weeks.
TP recently said he wants more players in and we all need to have faith in him to do so.
Only a few days ago I saw David Moyes being interviewed and he was saying how difficult it had been to date in the transfer market, so i'm sure many other clubs are in a similar boat.
Transfer activity will hot up next week and it will be even hotter the week after.
It would be fantastic if we can sign someone of the calibre of Zigic but that may well be pie in the sky.
PC has put his money where is mouth is to get Stoke to the premier league, you can rest assured that he will want to keep us there for seasons to come.
TP is probably one of the best managers at exploiting the loan market and I'm sure we will all be pleasantly surprised when he puts this to use again this season.
At the moment it's bloody frustrating but I am glad that we are not settling for some of the signings other clubs have made, Hull in particular.
One of the biggest things that we have got going for us is that we have a very 'tight' dressing room and a great spirit of togetherness.
Paul Jewell has commented today just how important this is to the success of any team.
It's also obvious that Pulis is highly respected by the palyers and this is another very, very important attribute for the success of the team.
We need to give Tone 100% support, take a chill pill and trust that he will lead us succefully on our premiership journey.
GGGOOOARRRNNNNNNNN STOKE!

I'm not 100% sure but I think it's two loan players from Premiership teams, you can have more loan players if from Championship or abroad (?).

Premiership managers should be finding it difficult in the transfer market as they also are trying to bring in 'better players than we already have'. However, ex-CCC managers should find it easier to FIND (if not SIGN) better players than they have.
If I remember right, some TV stats (ie not mine!) said that up to last Thursday, there had been an average of 3.4 signings per Prem club (68 over 20 clubs) so Stoke's 3 (Kitson, Olofinjana and Sorensen) are par for the course. Among the anomalies - Everton and Man U had nil, Fulham, Hull and Sunderland (lower end teams) had 8, 7 and 6 respectively yet Liverpool and Spurs (top drawer teams) had 6 and 5 respectively. Most of us can understand the 3 lower teams making large changes but it seems even teams like Liverpool and Spurs can feel the pressure to compete.
