Anyone else going.
Ticket is a bit steap and £12.80 on the train but might not be a bad day out.
Am I right in thinking you don't need away card so my mates lad can come. Just checked on the website and it doesn't mention anything about it.

I'm going down, but my student card is yet to run out, so a tenner ain't too bad.
You shouldn't need ID cards, I wasn't asked for mine when I got the tickets. But you do need to buy your tickets before you go.

Not sure but if its a friendly presumably theres cash turnsttkws. We went down and got our from the ticket office. Ground is 2 miles from the station. You can either go to the bus station and get the express bus there (bus station sign posted) or you can walk from the station.
Car parking ticket is £10 for those going by car.

Frankwell car park is near to the bus station for those who want to go into the town centre first and then use the bus, it's £3 to park all day and near to Wetherspoons.

Is Wetherspoons usually safe. Being a friendly it most likely is but I always ask on away games if going into the town.

I am local to Shrewsbury, and never thought I'd have to think about whether it was 'safe'. But I can recommend that if anyone want a quiet drink and maybe lunch before the match The Bull Inn is good just up the alley by Thomas Cook, however I don't know their policies on match days. We will be heading there first to see if we're welcome.
