Iwelumo scored a cracker v Wigan in the cup- 30 yards exaggerating a bit though. Was a great move, Hoestra down the left- great cross and Lumo cracked a volley in from just outside the area. Belter
Stefan's at Charlton takes some beating
Brian Talbot scored a beaut v norwich in the League cup- great 1 touch move and finish.
Mickey Thomas v Liverpool
Too many others to mention

Steins first against the shit was special. Dixons overhead kick against Leeds. Griffs against Coventry. A corking Greenhoff volley against Leeds in 75/76.

Belter Yeah that's the one I'm thinking of. Could be an exaggeration, what would you say, Soi/Jomtien (weird calling you Jomtien

Yep was about 22 yards I think- was an absolute belter as you said - couldn't have hit it any sweeter. Was in so much space he didn't have to hit it first time but glad he did Filan in goals never saw it Think was Clarkey put Hoekstra down the wing with a great ball. Cracking goal all round- probably for me the best ever at the Brit

Yep was definitely Clarkey to Hooky... 22 yards is prolly more of a conservative guess than my 30 though. Prolly Lumo's greatest ever goal as well as the Brit's.

Geoff Salmons against Ipswich 74-75 . Keeper kicks it out hits Geoff on the back of his head has he is running back and goes straight over the keepers head into the goal. Cooper was the goalkeepers name.

I think one of the most underrated goals of the past few years is Gifton's winner at Wigan (1-0).
Eustace played a 'Ronaldinho' pass (looking one way, pass the other) to Clarke who crossed it low for GNW to tap home.
It wasn't spectacular but as a move, it was fantastic. I think it was our first goal for about five games too!!

My work computer doesn't allow me to see the goal Banbury, but I remember it like yesterday.
Hooky just swivelled and it dipped over Chamberlain to make it 2-0 (I think). That was when we played 5-3-2 (with Mark Williams at the back).
The win at Vicarage Road was crucial to us staying up.
The supporter's celebration was of admiration rather than a conventional mental- superb!

raf, if you are on about the pen against reading then yes it was a beaut in its cheekiness. if that had been done in the prem it would have been on every concievable footy programme going. it certainly capped one of the best performances i have seen from a stoke player.
knowles, thats the one, at the front is smudge dancing round like a loon
