For anyone planning to travel by train, the Crewe to Shrewsbury line is partially closed this weekend.  So those wanting to go by train from Crewe, Nantwich, Whitchurch etc the usual timetable does not apply, you should check the journey, some replacement buses are on early, otherwise a major detour. The trip which ususally takes us 25 minutes is now taking over 2 hours so I think we will be taking the car. I think it is only the Crewe to Shrewsbury line that is affected. |

What is the Shrews new stadium like? Loved the old one, great character. The regular flooding and the ball/river/coracle scenario.
Plus Gay Meadow was a superb ground name.

I haven't been to the new stadium yet, so will find out on Saturday.
I think we are now going to park in the Meole Brace Park and Ride and bus into town centre before the match and then back in time for the match.
