for those who can remember the post, I've still heard nothing for those who haven't, its this. About a month ago my 11yr old cousins dad died from cancer. He is destroyed as you expect. I have a good relationship with him, and he's more like a brother to me. Anyways He lives in Belfast and he asked me if i would bring him over to watch Chelsea. I cant take him the away game as he can't come over at that time, but is able to come the home game. He is A Chelsea fan for his sins, but at a time like this i don't mind. I've booked the flights and am flying over to bring him back over here to watch the game, stay with me a few days then fly back. To make sure he wasn't disappointed, I asked on here if anyone knew of a way i could get a ticket for the game and could we move to a different area in the ground if must to sit together. I was told to email the club which i did, but receive no answer after a week. I have since tried again and still no answer. My friend has said push to to shove he can have his ticket, but its not really fair on him. Is there anyone who can make and suggestion what I should do now. Thanks

Get as many forum members as possible to email Scholes about it I'll certainly do so on your behalf.

And its not like im doin it for myself, im doin it to help cheer up someone who has lost someone major With tickets being at such a premium next season (particularly games like this) I really doubt you'll get much help from the club on this. Firstly there's no way to verify the story, secondly it could set a precedent and they'd be getting emails from a thousand chancers, and thirdly, well...he's not even a Stoke fan. All that said, the club should have at least replied to tell you that... Please don't think I'm doubting your story, by the way, it's just that's how it is. Have you tried Chelsea? - see if they'll sort 2 tickets in the away end for you, although I imagine that might be doubtful too. Is he over long enough for there to be another Chelsea fixture? You might have more luck with another game. Otherwise, you might just have to accept your friend's offer and tell him you owe him big time. Hope you sort somat out anyway.

Why not wait until the tickets are released and buy one?!?!?
Or is that too simple?

I've got him from the Thursday to the Tuesday, so can only take him the stoke vs Chelsea 1. It was the only time his mum would allow him to come. I wouldn't make a story like this up just to get a ticket as that would be truly sick. He was over a couple of weeks ago to put his dads ashes at Old Trafford. I emailed UTD as his dad was a Big Fan and use to work for the club. They emailed me back the next day, saying we could come any day and would be allowed to put the ashes at the side of the pitch. Which was really nice of them

Feel for your cousin but at the end of the day TS has got more important things to attend to than sorting out a ticket for a Chelsea fan. If he really wants a ticket then the only thing for you to do is to buy one as soon as they come on sale.

Is there any danger it will end up on Sky or Setanta and be moved anyway? That being the case, there may be ST holders who can't get to the re-arranged date / time who would be willing to help...just a thought - not sure if Sept TV matches have been set yet.
