How does one set up a new email account, I moved house at the weekend, so now I'm on a different computer where my step-dad is the administrator. I've got my own user with me own desktop and the like, but I can't remember how to set up a new email account, it's been so long. Do I need to ring BT?

You aren't really giving us a lot of info ?
Are you after a web-based service or are you using outlook/similar ?
If you're after web based just go to hotmail.com/.co.uk and away you go, if you had to come on here to find that out i'm rather disturbed
other web servers googlemail/yahoo etc, i'd recommend hotmail as it ties nicely in with msn messenger

Ok thanks for your help so far, but, I gone through all the stages on the linky think for BT, and it still won't work, all my settings are the same as the administrator. Every time I go to send an email, a pop-up appears saying "verify account by typing in username and password". Does that mean my username or that of the administrator???? Either way it doesn't work!!!!!
This is really pissing me off, it shouldn't be this hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
