hi all i have brought a new laptop today and tried to install ares ive got it installed but wont connect and when it does it stays connected for about 5 mins thn goes offline again my internet is working fine so is everything else does anyone no how to diagnose this problem or any other decent p2p sharring sites?

Could be your firewall blocking it.

just get utorrent and sign up to some torrent sites mukka if ya need any invites i can let you have an iptorrent one to start you off

p2p sharing tip - don't do it
use rapidshare instead, faster more reliable downloads for a small monthly charge. Sign up for rapidshare to allow you to download using thier servers then search for links to downloads in forums such as KatzForums.com
thats what i'd do anyway*

Download Bittorrent. Use the help sections. If you use a router you will need to apply port forwarding. Use a torrent search engine via google etc.
