I'm with scottish power, it'll caost an extra £176 for the year. is it worth bothering?

dunno mate but it looks like theyll all be putting there prices up in line with EDF. Expect a sudden jump recently then an evening out for the rest of the year.
sorry cant be more he;pful but never heard of capped prices

Definately worth fixing the prices for anyone who hasnt. Reckon they will be withdrawn very soon with British Gas due to rise next (probably after Centrica release their results this week) and prices will rise more even though the cost of oil is coming down. (All to do with the hedging positions)
All will put up their prices soon I'm sure so in the long run it will work out cheaper if you get it fixed now
£176 seems a lot though - are you sure you are on the best deal as well??? If raised by 60% over the year, £176 will still be less that what you would pay (and it will be close to that)

Yeah pay over 1k duel fuel and went through all comparison sites and the mark-up was £176 still considering.

I went with Scottish Power 18 Months ago- saved £30+ per month and at the moment have a credit balance of £72
