I'm not an expert, but I think it may be fucked.
My laptop scren flickers (as if it goes off) when jolted or shaken a little. I can no longer do work on trains. Seems to have a loose connection, but I don't know if it is repairable.

Probably needs a new screen same happened on mine.
Never done one myself but I know that they are usually held in place with small screws hidden under small rubbers around the edge of the screen.
Might be worth installing the latest version of the driver for your graphics card just in case there is any corruption.

I had this on mine and it turned out it was the power inverter for the cold cathode lights behind the screen, cost me about £20 to replace, quite an easy job.

I will keep that in mind for when it gets really bad.

sorry Potter no mine was done under warranty.
There are a few independent computer places that will give you a price like the one on the corner along London road Stoke.

Potter the white line is a guide for the use of a chainsaw to cut your computer in half.
