I have been told to take sterling cheques so you can change them at there rate,
or do i take euro cheques please could you advise

personally, as said, take bank card, or cash. but if you insist on cheques, then euro

Plus also you will probably be charged 2.5% to use your debit card over there. Wherever you are buying your traveller cheques they should be able to advise you the best way. Personally I would try a main Post Office or Marks & Spencer. They have some good deals.

personally mate i would change about £100 over here, and then take the rest of the money in cash and change it over there, But invest in a saf while your over there!

Take travellers cheques in sterling mate, at least if you don't use them you won't lose any money on the exchange rate if you cash them back in.
