Would very much like one for when i go fishing for a few days/nights.
It's more or less needed to keep medication inside a portable fridge, so would need to keep constantly running.
Looked at the honda generators, which run for around 8 hours on a 2.3 litre tank of petrol, but at around £500 is a little on the expensive side.
Got to be reliable and to take alot of constant running, whilst being quietish too.
Anyone use one, and if so what are your opinions on them?.
Thanks in advance.

Taz, i've used quite a few generators in the past and without paying 100's maybe near a thousand for anything thats really quiet, especially in the dead of night, you might be better off as hiyadad says in getting a cool box type fridge. jusy my opinion.

the water you are fishing in may also be cool enough to store the medicines. stick them in a plastic bag and weigh/tie it under water.

Currently have a fridge that does not need to reply on ambient temperature, as we cannot afford for the medication to ever get above the temperature of 6 degrees, because once this happens for a sustained period of time then it has to be thrown away "it's a liquid that comes in a vile which then has to be injected" . The fridge that we have is portable, has a capacity of 14 litres and retailed at £150. Unfortunate that they cost that much but it does not rely on getting a temperture dependant on outside weather conditions.
The quietest generator that i have seen operates at 52 decibals and retails at around £500-600.
Thanks alot everyone, much appreciated.
