Why do staplers have 2 settings - 1 where the staple folds in and 1 where the staple fold out. I dont know anyone who uses a stapler on the fold out setting? Do You? If you do let me know. What are your thoughts on this life/death matter?

I've always wondered what that function was for, fascinating ;D
I used to turn all the teachers staplers to that setting in the hope that they would nick their finger at some point in the future, simple things amuse simple minds.

Always in for me. Standard stapling is done on my black Banner, it takes 24/6 or 26/6 size staples. For the big work, I reach over for the daddy, a heavy silver Rexel affair that punches out the heavy duty 2-60's. I'm ashamed to say that my hole punch is just a standard Classic 7482.

Tragically I do know the reason for the two settings but it would be very boring for me to explain, so I cannot be arsed.

do a google image search (make sure the safe search is off) for "standard Classic 7482". No wonder Prong is so ashamed ;D ;D ;D sorry Prong.
