"If we can just get through to the Janurary window then we can bring the players we want to bring in, and build on what we have"
Chances of this happening?

Well who knows, if hes after players, what more can he do, like he says if players want sit on the bench or not even make the bench, at prem clubs then very little.
But we know he can pull rabbits out of hats, sometimes, and hopfully, the FA CUP GAME, will appeal to some players coming here.

If we slip up before the window opens then it will be very very hard in enticing players to our club because the likes of Watford and Charlton etc etc could/will blow us out of the water when it comes to terms.
However if we can remain in the top 3/4 and within touching distance of those automatic promotion places "4 points off max" then this will however make this more easier in attempting to bring players to our club.
Whichever way you choose to look at it then our next 3/4 matches are to my knowledge as a Stoke City supporter the most important within our history because quite simply you cannot afford NOT to be in that Premiership where all todays money is generated.

I have faith PC will invest. It makes logical sense. The club is currently losing a significant amount of money each year, and any money received from the windfall that is being in the Premiership would certainly help stabilise the club.
I think what TP has achieved so far is nothing short of superb. The team spirit on which the team's success has been built has to be credited to TP to a degree.
Now, lets find some players, that fit nicely in with the attitude of fellow 'ard workers, and add that touch of quality that will see us through to May - a top 2 finish is really in the offering, in my opinion!

really you should be lining the players up NOW so they can join on the 1st of Jan, not the 31st

I'd presume we are doing our best to line up players now, Dave. Despite Pulis's admitted failure to land some of his targets, I think it is very unlikely that he will wait until 31 December before he decides who he would like to bring in in January.

I bloody hope so Fornside, but i haven't exactly been impressed with the clubs handling of the transfer window situation since it came in , in fact I can't recall a time when I have ever been impressed with the way the club has dealt with any transfer deadline , always working to the last minute and usually failing, I would much rather see us getting the players in early , rather than last minute

Yes, but we can't get players in before the window opens can we? I presume that Cort and Pugh will be signed seamlessly at the end of their loan spells. The Shawcross situation will to some extent depend upon Fergie and, personally, I would not keep Wright.
As to any new faces - who knows what will happen but I doubt that TP has not identified who he wants by now.

I also think Tone will have identified who he thinks we need so lets hope they are achievable signings and that he goes out and gets them in with a minimum of fuss.
