Obviously with the bigger crowds its gonna be a crush at the matches... im just wondering about the away end.
Like it or not, they'l be Trouble at the Home games more often than not, and with Home/Away fans being so close, and that door that got kicked in against Leicester (Good job both sides were all a bunch of Fairies and threw Plastic bottles at eachother...and could of been a whole lot worse)
What will the club do to prevent it? The likes of Chelsea, Man United, Man City, It might end up like a Warzone if they arn't careful!
Someone mentioned the door that seperates the Home & away fans in the away end is now...basically Concrete. If thats right then theres that problem solved. Went the Brit earlier in the week and nothing has been changed outside the away end.
I hope they arn't expecting a couple of lines of Stewards, Police Horses & Policemen will prevent all hell breaking loose?

I cant see it being that bad. All stoke fans in that end will be season ticket holders I think. If people are so stupid to risk their season ticket then good luck to them. You see games on the tele all the time where fans are split in the stands by a row of stewards. If dickheads are intent on draggin the club through the shit again they will. You could rebuild the Berlin wall there and it wouldn't stop em.

i agree Ben there will be more trouble next season. I was talking to Manure, Chelsea and Arse anal fans on holiday and they were all telling me theyre looking forward to filling our pubs in the town centres. Theyve been living in a fantasy league for too long. I told them they wont do that in Stokes town centre because altho things have improved throught the leagues..there was still the old school mentality amung all three of the teams that come up. I was told by a newcastle fan that he'd rather go to Iraq than to come to stoke cuz he'd feel safer.

dont you just know that it will kick off......can you imagine chelsea, man utd, arsenal fans mingling in weatherspoons in stoke with stoke fans?.....i dont think so somehow there is still an underlying element of idiots under the guise of stoke city ''supporters'' you only have to see that when some idiots attacked a season ticket holder in the boothen end last season leaving the poor guy with a fractured jaw,or the moron who attacked simon royce the qpr keeper,or the well documented violence at the brit....what chance do away supporters have?...very little im afraid,i just hope that the decision to house home fans and away fans in the same end does not backfire on the club, lets hope that stoke city make the headlines for all the right reasons next season by what happens on the pitch and not what is happening outside the ground or the surrounding areas.....but im not holding my breath......

If a line of stewards can seperate Man U from Liverpool fans...Newcastle from Sunderland...and Chelsea from West-Ham...whats all the fuss about?? I remember Tottenham fans ripping the old Stoke-end gates off once (they were about 15 feet high and 30 feet long) to 'get-at' Stoke fans outside... Conna be that bad again

My 9 year old boy and I have STs in the South Stand very close to the away fans.
I'm looking forward to some great banter and a brilliant atmosphere in there next season...if there is any trouble then I will be amazed. The odd drunken teddy boy gesturing to the away support, or lobbing the odd brick (and vice versa) is about as far as it will go IMHO.
Anybody who tries to kick it off in or around the ground is a tool, they should leave the aggro to the proper lads who do their business away from the ground.
