Former England midfielder Matthew Le Tissier has said he thinks Stoke City are likely to be relegated from the Premier League this season.
Le Tissier told BBC Radio Stoke: "I think they will be among five or six teams that will struggle, it would surprise me if they got to safety.
"It will be a tough season for them, as it always is for teams that are promoted from the Championship."
Le Tissier won eight caps for England between 1994 and 1997.

I suppose he's based his expert opinion on the expert opinion of all the other expert pundits, (who now eff all )if you know what I mean. It amuses me to read therse forecaster who don't know what team we'll start with, how other teams will struggle, etc. The pundits really are the last people I take note of. They can't see the real world outside the plush bars of the BIG teams.

To be honest, asking anyone outside the club how they think Stoke will fare is pretty much guaranteed to evoke only one answer, isn't it?
They may as well have asked him which four clubs will be challenging for the Title or what he'll be doing in four hundred years' time.

Talk about stating the bleeding obvious - with that level of insight and football expertise he'll soon be heading up the Sky Sports commentary team.

This is Le Tissier who went through countless relegation battles with Southampton.
Word of advice Le Tiss, keep your mouth shut and concentrate on your own team.
Sick and tired of all these negatives from so-called experts

Be fair lads - it IS going to be a struggle. With the right signings I think we'll give it a damn good go and might even make it, but let's not delude ourselves that it's going to be anything other than a fight for survival.

What a nobber. Anyone could predict that the three promoted teams plus three others will struggle. It's like predicting that Arsenal will be one of four teams that will probably do rather well... All this "x footballer tips x team to get promoted/relegated/struggle/not struggle etc." is rubbish - I'd rather they get down the bookies, put their money where their mouth is, and stop spouting out about it. Bah!

What do you expect him to say to them?
"They'll stay up and surprise everyone. It doesn't matter that they haven't signed a single player and currently have a squad that would struggle to get 15 points."
He'd have to be a bit daft to say something like that wouldn't he?

See your point, but why is he bothering stating the obvious?! we know we will struggle but so will Hull, Brazil, Wigan, Fulham, Sunderland etc, but he says nothing about them. TBH we had a gutfull of bad press last season when we were trying to achieve something, we've had enough of all the negativities and the damn right obviouses. We are trying to attract players to our club at the moment for a season that will be tough enough as it is, comments like Le Tissier has made are really ill timed and not needed at the moment, it could seriously harm our chances of attracting any player. Why dont he have a pop at Hull? stop them from purchasing 75% of the English transfer market and leave us be.

Exactly what i posted earlier danstoke82.Why make daft comments when we are trying to draft in decent players to strengthen our squad. Its getting very close to the opening day of the season and still no signings,we can do without all the shite press and lets get a few positives behind us.We will be battling hard this season i can see it.

To be fair, I doubt he's just got on the blower unannounced to Radio Stoke to say "guess what lads?" Presumably he was asked for his opinion on how he expects us to do and he gave it. Can't see too much wrong with that.

Le Tissier told BBC Radio Stoke: I thought that this suggested that he was asked about his thoughts on Stoke. Unless he just decided to give Acres a call to let him know his opinion.

Former England midfielder Matthew Le Tissier has said he thinks that bears shit in the woods.
Le Tissier told BBC Radio Stoke: "I think they like to take a dump in the woods. Definitely. I am sure this happens.
He added;
"I also think that the Pope is a catholic."
Le Tissier won eight caps for England between 1994 and 1997.

The point should be, who gives a toss what le tosser thinks?
He was an average striker at a pooor club who spent most of the time towards the bottom of the league (presumabley because the strikers were shit???)
Lets also get the just as valid opinions of Ann Widdicombe, Terry Wogan and Barry Scott for the cillit bang advert.....
Fuck off matthew, you big nosed french sounding ugly bastard dog raper!
