Sometime ago Gary Hackett claimed that Ade Akinbiyi was going to return to Stoke. Well the truth of the matter was that Ade Akinbiyi was in fact offered to Stoke, but Pulis was not interested one little bit.
How do i know this?. I know because as some posters might know that my Uncle "wife's side of the family" is friends with Peter Coates, and as such was told that Stoke never had any intention whatsoever, yet Gary still would not accept it.
Some may also remember that i posted about Coates being approached by Sky asking if they could leave the scaffolding up as they had plans to show the Leicester match live. I never have professed to get to know much information, but when i do then i'll post it when it's acceptable.
The moral of the story is that i for one take Gary's comments with a large pinch of salt especially when he be-littled my comments in relation to what i had posted during the Ade Akinbiyi saga.

My brother knows Ade. This pretty much ties in with what he was told by Ade himself. He was offered back to Stoke but a) the price qouted was too high and b) Stoke didn't feel it would be in their best interests. Ade himself would have been quite happy to return. |
