My car had a few stickers on them & when i peeled them off, it left all the glue on the bodywork.
any ideas how to get it off, without ruining the paintwork?
Thanks in advance

Nail polish remover or acetone will remove it.

White spirit will remove it, then polish the area with car wax

are you sure it's adhesive? I've heard about all this dogging that goes on!!! lol
Seriously, try lighter fluid. Strips off glue and backing without affecting your paint. Make sure you polish again shortly after. Done this a few times on my pt and no marks left, it also leaves a good base for new stickers as well

As Spiderman says: White Spirit will do the job. Put it on with a soft cloth/paper and leave it for just a couple of minutes. Whipe off using pleny of water and if necessary scrape remaining glue off carefulley with your nails. Fingernails that is... Wash thoroughly and wax. Do NOT use Acetone or nail polish remover.

Lighter fuel works for me every time. That's liquid fuel in a tin not gas in a canister ;D
