Im having a good day ;D
To: Matchday Cc: tonyscholes@stokecityfc.com Subject: matchday@stokecityfc.com - Email found in subject - Matchday Profit and expereience
Dear Tony and whoever.
I would like to put to you several ideas that will both improve club profitability and the general matchday experience of the supporter.
The concourses on the Seddon and Boothend are very narrow and easily overcrowded at half time.Groups gather and large crushes at the food and drink outlets deter a lot of people from purchasing.
More outlets are needed.Crush barriers are needed to assist orderly queuing rather than the current scrum.
Whilst toilets are big enough in floor area, the entry and exits are not and need widening thus preventing queues on the concourse.
Mobile alcoholic drinks carriers should be employed (Barrel Back Packs)
The next issue is smoking, whether we like it or not large groups smoke on the concourse and in the toilets.
Surely it is in everyones interest to open the gates at half time and let the smokers outside into cordoned areas.
This will alleviate several problems,
1 The smokers will be happy and not contravening ground laws
2 The non-smokers will be happy on the concourse smoke free.
3 Smokers being outside will create more space on the concourse.
Pre match, half time and fulltime drinking areas must be improved.
Currently the Power League,Hem Heath CC and the Harvester are ram packed as are most the pubs within 2 miles of the ground.
These people are lost to Stoke City and the £1000s they spend in the pub
Why Stoke City charge for entry to delilahs is beyond me,they gain a few quid on entry but lose £1000s on lost alcohol sales by people put off by entry charge.
Alcoholic drink in the ground is far to expensive and very poor quality.
These supporters must be encouraged into the ground to spend their money on a quality drink at a cheaper price.
I have a lot more ideas but wont go into all of them now ,unless you want to employ me lol.

Kev: I'd email the fans forum and ask them to "follow up" your suggestions .
the easiest way to improve the concourse would be to build the food outlets onto the outside , and remove the existing ones , and install queue barriers like those at the Richo , this would vastly increase the size .
