Looking forward to it. Although I'll probabley watch the main events of the athletics I'm looking forward to the cycling more. It helps that we're good at it I suppose

Britain have a brilliant young boxer. Only problem is it'll be in a convenient timezone for Australia. Its better in the middle of the night! Makes it more of an event somehow.

Can remember staying up to watch Redgrave win his historic fourth gold and I know what you mean about it feeling more like an event at night. Just turn the lights off, get some good curtains and get a conveniently placed bat to give you that night feeling

Just turn the lights off, get some good curtains and get a conveniently placed bat to give you that night feeling Is this what you mean? And yes, I am looking forward to it. I'm one of those weirdos that will watch pretty much any sport. Particularly looking forward to the swimming, cycling and the middle-distance races in the athletics. The gymnastics and diving are always a good watch too, and the BMX should be an interesting addition. And beach volleyball anyone?
