Maybe he thinks we will go straight down anyway and has decided to trouser all the prem dosh!....this means we would be financially sound for the next 10 years. Why blow 10 to 15mill on players and still get relegated?

that would be financial suicide for the club, supporters would walk away and he would be left with a white elephant becuase a championship club is not worth a tenth of a premier league side. He would find it very difficult to come back from such a position and he's worked hard to reclaim some of his previous losses with supporters.

At this moment i'm starting to believe that's near to the truth, but i suppose time will tell and i hope i'm wrong ................as usual. ;D

It wouldn't be the first time Coates has put himself before the club.
Leopards rarely change their spots.
In truth we got promoted with a big slice of good fortune when we lost key games only to see our competitors had also dropped points.
The Championship was poor last season and we benefitted.
